Introducing Terra Terra Talks
Introducing Terra Terra Talks, the buzzworthy blog from the team at Terra Terra!
We believe that Terra Terra is more than just a place to dine; our goal is to take you on a gastronomic journey rooted in the rich tapestry of modern Italian cuisine, right in the heart of Northwest London. We are excited to share the stories behind our recipes, people, and concept.
At Terra Terra, we’ve reimagined traditional Italian dining with a modern lens. Our newly-unveiled concept pays homage to the culinary and social customs of the Northeastern Italian region of Veneto, well-known for its lively beverage and small plate culture.
The Floating City is renowned for its cicchetti, small snacks of varying shapes, forms, and sizes. Cicchetti can be hot, cold, served on bread, served with a cocktail stick, savoury, sweet, you name it! The only true requirements for something to be cicchetized is that the dish be seasonal and small enough to be enjoyed before dinner.
At Terra Terra, our new menu includes cicchetti as well as their bite-sized cousin, spunciotti. Spunciotti are just like cicchetti but hand-held. The term comes from Venetian dialect, “spunciar”, to prick with a toothpick.
The Venetians are known to have a strong appreciation for fine wines and spritzes as an integral part of their social and cultural traditions. As a result, your cicchetti and spunciotti meal is not complete if you do not have a glass of wine or an Aperol spritz in hand.
Our cicchetti and spunciotti are designed to encourage shared experiences, lively conversations, and the joy of discovering new flavours with every bite.
We're excited to take you on a journey through the culinary wonders of Terra Terra. Whether you're a seasoned food enthusiast or someone seeking a new adventure in taste, we hope to make Terra Terra Talks your new culinary home. Grazie!
